The packaging methods of all filaments are highly similar: almost all adopt a double-layer packaging of “filament box + outer shipping carton”. Some brands, such as 3DxTech and Coex 3D, directly attach the shipping label to the filament box, while American Filament and Polar Filament omit the inner box. Atomic and Polar include small gifts with their filaments, and GreenGate 3D even provides additional samples of the same product in other colors.

Printing Performance

This evaluation focuses on practical application scenarios, avoiding brittle PLA materials and choosing the more practical PETG and PCTG. Except for GreenGate 3D’s recycled PETG and ProtoPasta’s red PETG, which require slight adjustments to printing temperatures, all other filaments performed excellently under preset parameters.

It is particularly worth mentioning the PCTG materials – 3D Fuel’s products are impressive in terms of color consistency and printing stability, and the color uniformity of the entire roll of filament can be regarded as an industry benchmark.
