Crafted by Mercedes-Benz’s top research and development center and refined by the Affalterbach team, the CONCEPT AMG GT XX is an all-electric four-door coupe that embodies the pinnacle of performance, efficiency, and design innovation. At its core lies three compact axial flux motors, delivering over 1,341 horsepower, paired with a next-generation high-voltage battery system. This powertrain achieves extraordinary feats: instant acceleration, sustained high-power output, and lightning-fast charging that adds 400 km of range in just 5 minutes. Inside the cabin, revolutionary materials and 3D-printed custom seat cushions elevate personalized comfort and performance to new heights.

Interior: Racing-Inspired Minimalism Meets Cutting-Edge Luxury

The interior space embraces a racing-style minimalist aesthetic while integrating forward-thinking luxury elements. The most groundbreaking feature is the 3D-printed seat cushion—an ultra-lightweight padding customized via ergonomic scanning, mounted on a carbon fiber racing frame. The outer layer is wrapped in high-performance LABFIBER bio-tech leather, recycled from AMG GT3 racing tires. This material is not only more durable and eco-friendly than traditional leather but also boasts suede-like texture with enhanced heat resistance and tensile strength.

The cockpit 延续 (continues) the intelligent design concept of exposed structures: the dashboard has no cladding, with visible crossbeams, and the center console is embossed with the AMG badge. A high-resolution screen displays real-time vehicle data, while the MBUX interactive system—powered by Mercedes’ new “chip-to-cloud” software architecture—presents battery status and system information through dynamic visual effects.

Powertrain: F1-Derived Technology for Unrivaled Performance

The axial flux motors, co-developed with YASA and derived from F1 technology, are significantly smaller and lighter than traditional motors, yet offer three times the power density. These motors are precision-integrated into high-performance electric drive units on the front and rear axles, enabling intelligent torque distribution and ultimate driving control.

The battery system, exclusively developed for the GT XX, uses slender cylindrical cells housed in a lightweight aluminum casing, ensuring exceptional thermal and electrical conductivity. Over 3,000 cells are each equipped with independent non-conductive oil cooling, guaranteeing stable output during high-load driving and fast charging. This system also supports remarkable energy recovery efficiency and sustained high-power operation without degradation.

Exterior: Performance Redefined Through Design

The exterior design exudes uncompromising performance: sharp lines, a wide-body stance, and a “Sunset Beam Orange” color-shifting finish create a striking visual impact. Illuminated side skirt panels enhance nighttime visibility and display interactive information during charging. The headlight assembly innovatively integrates external speakers, capable of playing AMG-exclusive sound profiles and alert tones.

Every detail, from aerodynamics to the cooling system, is engineered for performance. The chassis generates powerful downforce via the Venturi effect, eliminating the need for large rear wings. The patented Aero Wheels feature blades adjustable via Bluetooth, balancing cooling and drag reduction.

Construction: Lightweight, Safe, and Platform-Advanced

Built on the AMG.EA all-electric platform, the lightweight body combines aluminum, composite steel, and carbon fiber. The battery pack is integrated as a structural component into a reinforced safety frame, strictly adhering to Mercedes’ collision standards, with all high-voltage components receiving comprehensive protection.
